The Model Railroad Museum of the American West should be welcoming to everyone — online now, and in person when we open in downtown Snoqualmie in 2029.

Our commitment

We aim for this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That means readable contrast, clear structure, descriptive text for images, and pages that work with a keyboard and screen readers.

The museum building

The museum is being designed with step-free entry, accessible restrooms, seating throughout, and viewing heights that work for visitors using wheelchairs and for younger guests. We’ll share more detail about sensory-friendly hours and other accommodations as opening approaches.
